The Michael G. Meyers Design Competition (MGMC) is an annual scholarship competition that focuses on students' ideas and creativity for architectural solutions to specific projects. 
All students in all class levels will use this project as our large 2nd semester project as it is multifaceted and is a good reflection of an architectural design process to a real world application. It typically starts at the end of January and lasts until the 1st week of May. Each week there is development, growth, feedback, and critical thinking that is applied to various parts of the project. It is hosted by the AIA Houston chapter and more details on the competition can be found here.
